Last updated: July 2026 · For the use of the PhysiqueForge app and website.
1. Scope and provider
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the PhysiqueForge app (iOS/Android) and the website physiqueforge.de. The provider is Thomas Schwabauer, Kirschenwäldchen 8D, 35578 Wetzlar, Germany (see Legal Notice).
2. Description of services
PhysiqueForge is an app for planning and logging strength training and nutrition (training plans, workout tracking, food diary, shopping lists, optional AI features). The basic features are free of charge. Advanced features (“Pro”) are available through a subscription or a one-time purchase.
PhysiqueForge does not provide medical, therapeutic or dietary advice. Training and nutrition suggestions are no substitute for a medical examination or consultation. You use the app at your own risk.
3. Account and user obligations
An account is required to use the service. You must keep your login credentials confidential and must not post unlawful content (e.g. in recipes, photos or chat). When importing third-party content (e.g. Instagram links), you are responsible for ensuring that its use is permitted.
4. Purchases, subscriptions and prices
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The respective store operator is the contractual partner for payment, invoicing and subscription management; its terms apply in addition. Prices, term and any free trial period are shown in the store before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in the store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you exercise your right of withdrawal or refund directly with the store operator (Apple: “Report a Problem”, Google: refund request in the Play Store).
For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires if you have expressly agreed that performance of the contract may begin before the end of the withdrawal period and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code, BGB).
6. Availability and changes
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The range of features and these Terms and Conditions may be changed to the extent that this is reasonable for users; we will inform you of material changes in the app or by email.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
8. Termination and account deletion
You can delete your account in the app at any time; this terminates the user agreement. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the respective store.
9. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers, this applies only insofar as mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence do not prevail. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
